Customer Responsibilities

Prior to our arrival, please ensure:

• All windows, doors and skylights are fully closed and secured, any outdoor lights, switches are turned off or covered. 

• Vehicles, outdoor furniture, pot plants, decorations, washing, toys, shoes and other loose or valuable items are removed or protected.

• Pets and children are kept away from the work area for the duration of the service.

• Neighbours are notified where noise, water overspray or temporary access restrictions may affect adjoining properties.

• Safe and unobstructed access is available to all work areas, including access to a suitable water supply and electricity where required.

• Advise Xterior Power Clean of any known leaks, damaged roofing, loose tiles, cracked render, loose paint, faulty seals, fragile surfaces, solar equipment, rainwater tanks, electrical hazards or other pre-existing defects before work commences. Or if your are unable to cover and would like areas avoided.

Important Information

• Exterior cleaning may involve high-pressure cleaning, soft washing, gutter vacuuming, purified water cleaning and specialised cleaning solutions depending on the service provided.

• Whilst every reasonable care is taken, customers are responsible for removing or protecting items they do not wish to be exposed to water, overspray, runoff or cleaning solutions.

• Cleaning may reveal pre-existing defects including oxidation, faded paint, loose coatings, cracked render, deteriorated mortar, unstable pavers, concrete deterioration, damaged sealants, existing repairs or other deterioration previously concealed by dirt or organic growth.

• Xterior Power Clean is not responsible for water ingress resulting from faulty seals, damaged windows, doors, roofing, flashings, vents, skylights or other pre-existing building defects.

• External power points, lighting, cameras, sensors, electrical fittings and other weather-exposed equipment should be appropriately sealed and switched off where practical prior to cleaning. Xterior Power Clean accepts no responsibility for failures caused by pre-existing defects, inadequate sealing or faulty equipment.

• Rust stains, calcium deposits, bore water staining, oxidation, efflorescence, oil stains, tyre marks, chewing gum, paint, builder’s residue, mortar, grout haze, concrete splatter, silicone, adhesives and other embedded stains or construction residue are not included unless specifically stated within the quotation. Some stains may be permanent and cannot be completely removed.

• Roof cleaning, pressure cleaning, soft washing and exterior cleaning improve the appearance of surfaces but do not restore aged, weathered or deteriorated materials to a new condition.

• Gutter vacuuming includes the removal of accessible loose debris only and does not include roof repairs, gutter repairs, downpipe clearing, leak detection or rectification of existing drainage issues.

• Xterior Power Clean accepts no responsibility for damage resulting from pre-existing defects, poor maintenance, faulty construction, ageing or deterioration of roofs, gutters, paintwork, render, concrete, pavers, tiles, glass, screens or other building materials, except where caused by our failure to exercise reasonable care and skill.

• Photographs may be taken before, during and after the works to document property condition, completed works and for quality assurance, insurance or dispute resolution purposes.

Scheduling & Payment

• Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue.

• Payment is due within 7 days of the invoice date unless otherwise agreed in writing.

• Service dates are subject to weather conditions, safe working conditions and site accessibility.

• Please provide as much notice as possible if you need to reschedule your booking.

• Additional charges may apply where access is unavailable, utilities are not provided, excessive manual cleaning is required, or the site has not been adequately prepared at the scheduled service time.

• Overdue accounts may incur reasonable debt recovery costs where permitted by law.

Insurance

• $20 Million Public Liability Insurance

• Full Workers Compensation Insurance

Acceptance of this quotation constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions. Full Terms & Conditions are available upon request and form part of this quotation. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any rights or consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law.
